"This day was good. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. There were two issues that could have made the state even better. First, it was extremely humid and muggy and the moisture in the room was very high and hard to tame. I would recommend perhaps a dehumidifier. Second, the television in the room didn't work properly and when a staff member came to change the settings it only offered a very few handful of local networks. "This is one of the most customer-friendly hotel experiences that I have had. The staff at the front desk were beyond welcoming and did an excellent job informing me of the various amenities within the hotel. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Finally, the room was spacious and comfortable. I will not stay at any other hotel, when I visit Columbia, SC., unless this hotel is fully booked. To the management team and entire staff, thanks for all you do! "

"Great value, comfortable beds. Very convenient location for any shopping, food and gas. The shortcomings included a main door that didnt completely close (could be an issue). The property is dated and some wall paper was peeling. The pool has been down a while and no one was working on it. Breakfast selection was good but limited. Carpet needs replacing. The hotel smelled very fresh! I was surprisingly pleased with my stay."
