Love the location we were minutes from Lake Murray beach and RiverBanks Zoo. Breakfast was hit or miss. We wanted to do the free bike rental but no one at the desk had any idea what we were talking about. The pool is an oversized bath tub. I guess it did not matter since it rained on and off our whole three day stay. Room was spacious and the kitchen was super handy.

The staff at this location are absolutely phenomenal! They are very polite, welcoming, friendly, and shows great care towards the welfare and experience of their guests. This is my second time being at this location and the service and overall customer experience only got better! The is the place to be if you are ever in that area!

This hotel is well located and potentially has much to offer. Sadly it seems to have been allowed to run down over time. Some of the problematic things that I experienced/noticed during my stay are: 1) Only one of the two elevators was functional, and the one that was working displayed an expired safety certificate, 2) The breakfast was underwhelming. Specifically the waffle batter seemed to be expired and the juice machine wasn’t working, 3) Some of the room furniture and fixtures in the outdoor areas were not maintained properly, e.g., the vinyl siding on a coffee/tray table in my room was peeling and the bulb in a light fixture near my room had fused. On the plus side, the staff were very helpful and seemed to be doing their best. But, given the deficiencies in this property, I will pay a little more and stay somewhere else in the future.

The room and hotel lobby were pretty clean. The kitchen in the room had almost everything you need to make meals. They have a complimentary breakfast every morning that was actually pretty good. They have some kind of eggs, sometimes bacon and sometimes sausage, 3 different types of cereal, waffles, bagels, muffins and some fruit, juices and milk. The only thing I would say they need to work on, is to explain to customers the charges that will hit their card and how much. They have a “incidental” hold they put on your card ($20 per night) and also if you have a pet, that’s $60 for up to 2 dogs per week. Other than that, the staff was great from the front desk, to the maintenance to housekeeping. Everyone was very helpful and nice. I’d definitely stay there again.
