Service is excellent but the room needs renovation. The room a bit dark. The bed sheet needs to change new one. Hotel is well located.
On a month-long trip to Vietnam, this was the worst hotel we stayed at.
It starts with the description of the superior room which is false, described as 18 m2, it is no more than 10 m2. The walls are filthy!
The description does not say that the room does not have a window and despite being non-smoking, it smells like a dirty ashtray.
A full breakfast is included in the daily rate, in fact there is a menu where you can choose between a few options. As it was a holiday period, the hotel suspended the service, even though it had already been paid. After a lot of discussion with an unfriendly receptionist, who tried to pay a different amount than what was stated on the reception menu, I managed to get a refund of 3U$ per person, the amount the hotel charges for breakfast, when it is not included in the daily rate.
When we woke up, the bathroom was flooded, as the air conditioning drain spilled onto the bathroom floor!
At checkout I suggested to the receptionist that not having a window is essential information and should be included in the room description. He replied that I shouldn't have taken the cheapest room! What I didn't even do, I took the superior one!
The only positive thing was that we only booked for one night!
L'hôtel est plutôt rustique et une rénovation s'impose. Il faut commander le petit déjeuner 20 minutes à l'avance à partir de 7 heures mais je n'ai vu aucun client le faire car la salle de restauration n'inspire vraiment pas confiance.
Staff replies very soon. There are some unknown dead worms on the ceiling.

Affordable location, note on bathroom
Great pillows I must say, so it was a comfy night's sleep. The bathroom in our family room (at level 9) was alright, with the shower area having no partition of any kind, so the water pools around the toilet and sink. Just be wary of that.
The bathroom was kept clean anyways so the issue of water pooling just took me by surprise.
While the standard room was very small, the room was clean, nicely kept and decorated and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is also in a very good location, close to restaurants and easy to find.
The staff do everything in their power to help you and make your stay comfortable. Vietnam beds are hard as it stops bed bugs. The back rooms are quite as they are off the street. The staff are very professional and personal and kind.
Good location.
No chairs in the room. Old shower, which cannot be used. Poor air conditioner. Hot in the room. Dim artificial lighting. Nothing is seen in the room at night. I had to use pocket torch at night. Poor breakfast. Poor WiFi. Staff imposes its expensive transport services.
We are so upset that we have been moved from this hotel that we have already paid for it to another hotel with the reason that the water supply is no good.

Small room for a decent price
The room was small without window, but very clean and had everything you need. Got women up in morning by people taking outside of the room. The ladies at the reception was very nice and helpful. The man at the reception was helpful, but he was very pushy in a way that did not suit us. Well, you can't like everybody :) The breakfast was a menu that you ordered your choice from. The location was good, however I would have preferred to stay around where Hanoi Hibiscus Hotel is situated, as there are more restaurants and action around there.

Clothes disappeared...
The rooms were okay (but the beds were very hard) and the service was overall good. However, what makes me rate this hotel so poor is due to the fact that they had stolen a few of my clothes. A few hours after I had checked out I recalled that I forgot a few clothes on the bed. I told the staff that I wanted my clothes that I had forgotten in the room but they said that they hadn't found anything in the room. They were lying since I am one hundred percent certain that I had left the clothes folded on the bed. They were not too professional about this and accused me of lying. This was very unfortunate (and very unprofessional) since the hotel was okay aside from this. I will never stay here again.
