"For almost 100 years, this has been an oasis tucked into an aspen stand beneath craggy cliffs and a stone’s throw from a gorgeous valley meadow with an alpine stream wandering through it. You can bring your own food to cook in the amazing cabin kitchens that would make getting snowed in a treat, or you can dine on well-made and locally-sourced choices on the restaurant menu. Then you can stop off in the open spaces to chill, book a sauna session, toast marshmallows in the firepit under the stars, and have the kids wild out in the play areas and ample grounds to wander before you retreat to the most comfortable cabins with beds and pillows as soft as clouds for a restful night. This is my favorite place to unwind and unplug. "

The natural beauty of the area was breathtaking, and the resort made sure every moment was filled with comfort, fun, and relaxation. We enjoyed so many activities—from swimming in the refreshing pools, large hot tubs, to hiking scenic trails with incredible views, and trying out just about every amenity offered. We played pickleball, basketball, mini golf, and more—it was impossible to get bored! Each activity was well-maintained and easy to access. The restaurant on-site was nice, offering delicious meals with great service and relaxing ambiance. Whether we were grabbing a casual lunch or enjoying a cozy dinner, the food never disappointed. What really made the experience stand out was the overall atmosphere and thoughtful details throughout the resort. It was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. I can’t recommend this resort enough for couples, families, or anyone looking for a memorable Lake Tahoe retreat. We’re already talking about when we can come back! "
