"Yes, very clean, helpful staff, excellent position in the town, good parking, great food by an enthusiastic capable, and innovative young chef. Lovely view over the estuary. Spacious room (The Porthole) with digital TV, strong wifi, tea and coffee etc. Very quiet. Super comfortable beds Yes, as others mention, there are minor imperfections. Very few hotels get everything right, but our stay was not impacted by anything. For example, a tap top was loose (but it worked ok) window stays were missing (but no impact on security or ventilation). This is a very old building which the owners maintain to a high standard despite additional difficulties due to age. Everything in the first paragraph makes up for any minor issues. And, a further factor - the fees per night are very reasonable. We have paid as much, with breakfast, to stay at a Premier Inn. Meal costs are very much in line with the other establishments in town."
