Everything was easy and seamless - pur luxury. The bar is amazing, so was the massage - endless choice. And to have a fantastic breakfast in such a beautiful setting just toped it off!

The room was clean, good natural light, comfortable. The bathroom was well organised. The reception desk was helpful and very pleasant. The dining room, accessed by a cute enclosed glass bridge over the canal, provided very good breakfast and dinner. It was an easy brisk walk to the Elbphilharmonie. A very good hotel.

This property has had lots of thought put into its design and the sort expectations kids big and small have when they go on holidays it’s qwerky, challenging, smart, alternative design, but everything works works well and is safe. One exception is a glass door closing off a hallway which does not have a marker to help visitors’detect’ when it’s closed!!!!

Great hotel with lots of food and drink nearby and close to the train station. The staff were extremely helpful and helped me locate some personal belongings I left behind and really went out of their way to make sure I was able to retrieve them. Special thanks to Patricia and Miriam.

A nice quiet hotel not far from the city centre just a few minutes walk to the train station

It was convenient for 1 day business trip. Location is great to stay away from the hustle and bustle of main city and harbour attractions but close enough to go on a stroll. Hotel is well presented, clean and cosy. Front office staff was happy to accommodate early check-in when I arrived at 1:30pm. All the staff were helpful and pleasant when approached; however at other times, when passing, it’s not common to receive a gesture. Lift was always fast and efficient. Tidy, well set up room, although it could have done with an Iron and Ironing board.

By all accounts this was one of the finest hotels we have stayed in. Great service, excellent location, unbelievably good breakfast. Staff couldn’t do more to help. Well done Steigenberger, we will be back!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms are large and luxuriously decorated, with extra large beds. One of the best properties of our trip. Could not recommend highly enough for a great stay in Hamburg. 5 stars for sure!
