"The room was clean but very dim lighting. there was an Elvis statue next to the stair and some kind of pirate statue in front of the door when opened. There was very little shops nearby, it is walkable to the train station."

I found some live music clubs to check out right around the corner. There are a few shopping streets to walk that aren’t focused on tourism.
