This is not in Interlaken. This is about 4 miles outside of Interlaken. To get there you get off the train at Interlaken West and then catch bus 106 to Habkern Post. The bus times can be found on the SBB app. Last bus runs about 7pm, don’t miss it or the taxi will run you about $47 Swiss Francs.
This is an old Chalet being run by a sweet young couple. It needs renovation but they are wonderful and it is very clean.
I did not enjoy the shared bath but shame on me for not paying attention to what I was booking. But even being a shared bath, it was very clean.
They have a restaurant on the lower level and the food was great! We arrived late and they still offered to feed us. Breakfast in the morning was very adequate and they make the coffee for you which was a nice treat.
The location is quaint!! There is a bakery across the street and the pastries are delicious! Such a beautiful little town. Highly recommend the view.
And if you are lucky, at 8pm the church bells ring across the hill. So beautiful!
