Lovely location for a Hotel and just one train stop outside Interlaken. Lovely room with fabulous lake view. Good size and comfortable. Tasty breakfast and really nice terrace and garden although we didn't get a chance to swim in the lake. Handy ferry boat stop too and train station quite close.

The most stunning property with an amazing view of Lake Brienz. We had a lakeside room...to wake up to that view every day was amazing. Staff went above and beyond (especially Shiva)! We loved the peacefulness of Hotel Seeburg after long days of sightseeing. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Perfect place for a couple! Romantic setting by the lake, ferry boat stop right in front, and an awesome breakfast spread every morning. Peter and Shiva were very helpful and always made us feel at home… definitely well-recommended and will book again on next Swiss trip!

Very good hotel, excellent location, very good breakfast. This hotel is own and run by husband wife and their daughter with lot of respect and services towards customers. We stayed here for 4 nights and will definitely come back to stay here even longer.

The best hotel in Interlaken

Quiet, serene, beautiful, and the service was absolutely brilliant. Would stay here again. It was the best hotel experience we had so far on our trip. Incredible staff and the view of the lake... fantastic.

This place is a hidden gem. The view of the lake is breathtaking. The owners Peter and Shiva are lovely. Very nice small hotel, very personal and cozy. I would stay there again.

We stayed four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The setting is gorgeous right on the lake and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We had an easy time using the train and bus system to and from Interlaken and the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again in the future given the chance!

This was probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. You CANNOT beat the view here. Right on the lake with gorgeous mountains in the background, tucked away at the bottom of a hill so you feel so secluded. The staff was wonderful as well and made sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were super clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Yes it was expensive, but you get what you pay for which is a serene and relaxing stay right on the turquoise blue water. The grounds were also really nice and there was a nice walking trail that takes you around the area. Easy bus route to get to the location too. I would come back here in a heart beat.

This place is magical. The service was extremely above and beyond. The views from the hotel are a dream. The hotel is a very easy and quick bus ride from the train station. It was worth the 7 minute bus to stay outside of town overlooking the lake and mountain. The breakfast was delicious. This will be a place I dream about for many years!!

Absolutely incredible stay at Hotel Seeberg! 🌟 The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel at home — genuinely some of the kindest people we’ve met on our travels. The location is unbeatable with jaw-dropping views and peaceful surroundings. You will really get to enjoy the best of Switzerland’s nature at your doorstep. Don’t be fooled by the distance from Interlaken — you also get FREE public transport in and around Interlaken, and there’s a ferry terminal literally right in front of the hotel. The bus stop is about a 7-minute uphill walk, totally manageable. This place is a hidden gem. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

This place is wonderful!! The breakfast is out of this world and to open the French doors in the room and enjoy the sound of the lake is serene. You must stay here! The couple who owns it, works diligently to make you comfortable. Clean rooms and a fresh feel! The bus stop is close by and easy to walk to. No negative things to say at all.

An Unforgettable Stay with Breathtaking Lake Views

The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake that are both serene and awe-inspiring. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the water was a magical experience and swimming in the lake after a long day of hiking was the highlight of our trip. The customer service was exceptional. The hosts went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable; they were friendly, professional and always available to assist with questions/requests. We also loved the varied breakfast selection (which was free) and ordered delicious sandwiches and drinks from their menu in the evenings.

We needed to start our vacation with a very quiet but beautiful spot. Hotel Seeburg was perfect for this. They serve a fabulous breakfast and 2 restaurants are within walking distance. The train is only a 8 minute walk up the steps behind the hotel. The boat picks up right behind the hotel which was so convenient. I would recommend when arriving to get off at Interlaken Ost station and taking a taxi to the hotel. The station in Ringgenberg is so tiny that there are no taxis in town.

Magical, quiet gem

Everything about this place is perfect. The rooms, the staff, the food, THE VIEWS, and most of all the location. Not only is it right on the lake but it’s tucked away from the touristy locations so it feels so private and peaceful. The boat cruise also stops right out side so don’t miss a chance to jump onboard. We saw so many waterfalls right from the boat. The staff here is so lovely as well. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I just wish we had more than 2 nights here to enjoy it. I hope I can return one day.

Nice hotel located 5 minutes from Interlaken, the hotel is on a boat stop, very convenient, nice, quiet, great customer experience, restaurant convenient breakfast complete, eggs, fruit, coffe, salmon, bread, etc. Our room has in second floor 21, and has a nice balcón with a view of the lake, you can swim in it, enjoy a beer or a glass of vine with view of the lake. The receptionist was very friendly and guide provide advice on our tour next day to Grindelwald. I would recommend this hotel, worth every €£$, Switzerland is expensive. Room spacious and comfortable. Beds and pillow 👍
