The Mercantile Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Brand new and beautifully built hotel just outside Temple Bar. Perfect location to walk around Dublin. Gorgeous bar on the ground floor. Go for the optional breakfast. "
"Great location. Clean , courteous staff . Parking is ok bit confusing and was promised a discount but when leaving parking garage discount card did not work and I had no time to call as was on way to airport early morning flight .
Great bar & restaurant ! "
"The property had a blend of old and new the quality of the rooms were excellent and contemporary. The cafe and bar/dining area had a historic feel with chic furniture.
Everything was Clean and shiny. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The area around the hotel is currently under redevelopment so it is not as attractive as it may be in the future."
"This is our third time staying at this property. We enjoy the location, convenience and amenities of the property. It is an easy walk to most things and just off a main road (O’Connell Street). Rooms are fairly modern although depending on which room you receive it can be spacious and others more constrained (due to room shape). We love the included continental breakfast option and have enjoyed this amenity each time we visited. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back!"
"The hotel was nice. Customer service was excellent, like crazy good. We had an issue with the AC in our room and after trying to figure out what was wrong gladly changed us to another room and gave us 2 vouchers for a couple of drinks for the inconvenience. Nice touch. Rooms are smaller but not overly so. Beds were comfortable. The property is centrally located so you can walk downtown and go, go, go. It's just enough off the main area that its quiet. "
