"Warm welcome. Lovely room in the coach house - spotlessly clean, warm and with very comfortable beds. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was very good with friendly and prompt service. "

"Our princess themed room was spacious and clean. We had no breakfast so cannot comment on this. Staff were very helpful explaining how the boiler and heating worked. "

"I loved the place, I was welcomed with a welcome package with tea and supplies. It was a 245 year old cottage so it has a few “features” which I loved the most about the place. I loved the three story staircase which was very good cardio. I’d love to stay again wonderful "

"Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast. The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free parking!!! Luckily we got parked ok in the train station car park but had to pay £15 per car. In the afternoon however the car park soon fills up and people drive up and down looking for a space. We’d stay here again due the location and the charm of the building. "
