Great getaway hotel for Valberg
For price and quality,Le Chastellan really met our hopes for a comfortable weekend break in Valberg and was just what we needed. Excellent for a 2 star hotel. Clean and comfortable with efficient and very friendly staff. Well located near to the center for all ameneties and nice and peaceful. Ideal for a break or a base for exploring the area in the summer.

Pitstop on a drivers journey.
Friendly staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds, and simple good food. During the summer season the place is quiet, and suitable as a place to rest before continuing your journey. Exceptional roads will get you here.

Basic, but ok
The room is very simple with only a double bed which is not really suitable for two people to have a decent night's sleep. Bathroom was small but fine. Breakfast was ok. Sound-proofing between rooms and stairwell very poor so you can hear every aspect of your neighbour's snoring, talking, ablutions and so on. Overall, an unremarkable hotel.

Wir blieben nur für 1 Nacht. Zimmer war etwas klein und die Zimmertüren gewöhnungsbedürftig ohne Türgriff :/ Personal war sehr freundlich… Frühstück war ebenfalls top

Geweldig ruime kamer. 4 bedden voor ons 2en. Echter maar 1 stoel in de kamer. Restaurant was goed, is wel op zondag gesloten! Iets om in Frankrijk rekening mee te houden.

Hôtel idéalement situé, bon accueil.
Très bon séjour au Chastellan ou nous avons eu la chance d'être surclassé, avec local à ski chauffé. À 5 minutes des pistes parfait. Le seul reproche que nous pourrions faire à la chambre c'est qu'il n'y est pas de placard. Mais sinon nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Bien situé, à 100 mètres du coeur du village. Chambres sommaires (lit de 140cm, etc.) mais très propres et fonctionnelles. Personnel très avenant. Repas le soir possible en supplément (27€ par personne, un peu cher à mon sens) Petit-déjeuner très copieux en buffet.

Les parties communes de l'hôtel sont satisfaisantes notamment une belle salle de repas avec également un espace bagagerie et un local pour le matériel de ski. En ce qui concerne la chambre cela est plus décevant, un morceau de carreau manquant au niveau de la vitre (en plein hiver, c'est un peu gênant), un radiateur très vieux et ne fonctionnant pas très bien, le linge de lit pas très propre et la porte salle de bain / toilettes qui ne ferme pas correctement (intimité limitée par moments) le tout avec une isolation phonique insuffisante ne garantissant pas un sommeil paisible.

Sehr nette Dame an der Reception. Zimmer war sauber und ausreichend für unsere Ansprüche. Es bestand die Möglichkeit die Motorräder in einer abgeschlossenen Garage zu parkieren. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit grosser Auswahl. Leider kein Lift, was uns jetzt nicht sonderlich störte. Man sollte unbedingt dem Bäcker im Dorf einen Besuch abstatten, ausgezeichnetes Brot. Dafür stehen die Leute bis an die Strasse.

Wir hatten einen prima Aufenthalt in einem Doppelzimmer mit angrenzendem extra Zimmer fürs Kind. Frühstück war lecker und frisch. Gute Auswahl. Abends leckeres Menü. Leider ist das Hotel etwas hellhörig. Wir hatten drei tolle Tage!
