"The Sandman is just "fine" -- the room was a bit shabby, and the walls are thin, but we appreciated the pool for our two active kiddos in the afternoons. It is "family friendly" insofar as there is a pool and nothing is too precious, but there was not much open space for kids to play safely other than the pool, so I would only recommend if you're literally only looking for a place to sleep. He forgets to bring us the water, coffee and Orange Juice that came with the breakfast. He forgot to bring one of our traveler the non-dairy milk to go with the granola. He was just not conscientious and a bit of a chip on his shoulders : (. "
