"The stay was perfect for a very rainy weekend. The house was warm and comfortable for a group of 9. We had everything we needed to cook dinners and breakfasts. Great coffee set up. There are a lot of steps in the home which was good for many of us since we spent so much time indoors and going up and down the stairs made us move around. The stairs were difficult however, for the older members of our party. The split level home afforded great privacy and quiet which was great. We did find a short walk around the neighborhood with great views of the ocean. We drove to other places to actually hike and have beach access. The town of Gualala is a gem and we enjoyed a bit of shopping, good coffee, and yummy seafood. I wish we could have enjoyed the outdoor spaces, but the rain kept us in. We had a lovely time. Thank you hosts for all the amenities. "

"A super special place! It's clear the host has taken care in selecting and maintaining the art, furniture, linens, and kitchen items. This felt more like a home than a rental. We would stay again but would not bring our dogs - I should have paid more attention to the amount of stairs (our semi-elderly dog had a tough time). The upstairs fireplace stopped working but the host gave us an option for heat and showed genuine concern by offering a small refund. If/when we return, we will bring two pairs of slip-on shoes to make going outside a bit easier. Walking the dogs in the early morning was magical - the light pollution ban makes for a lovely stroll to the sound of sea lions. "

"Our family of 7 (including three adult couples and one baby) along with two dogs had a wonderful stay for the holiday! The host was extremely communicative and helpful, even when we lost power for a day due to the winter storms. The house was so cozy and had everything we needed for days filled with cooking and hanging out. We would love to come back! "
