I stay in budget hotels. I only need a bed and hot shower. $50 is my upper limit and there are plenty in GDL at that price and they are acceptable for me. This one was under $40. Well, I guess I found my lower limit because I wouldn’t return here.

Undergoing renovations/construction. Overall good.
Basic older-ish hotel in a Central location, in a decently safe area. Would recommend. The only thing is it was under renovation when I stayed. And in my case, I was put in a room right next to the construction. So the hallway was in upheaval and the construction noise was kind of annoying. Maybe ask for a room NOT (next to/on the same floor/ below) the construction.

The hotel is conveniently located near the central plazas and the shopping area east of Independencia Sur. The cost of the hotel compares favorably with other hotels in the area. It would have been nice if there were more amenities, such as a coffee maker and iron in the room. A fitness center would be a big plus too. The room was pretty clean, but there was a little mold near the ceiling of the shower.

Good Value and Location
Some misinformation. There is no refrigerator or in room safe in the rooms. This needs to be corrected on the Hotels website. The people are nice. The rooms are decent. Some rooms border a music store that can be loud during the day. Good AC. hot water. Good Location and can walk 5 minutes to Cathedral of Guadalajara. Several buffet places, coffee, and stores on main street 2 minute walk straight outside hotel across the street one block (not left or right). Take a strong right out of hotel and there is a small grocery store for drinks. Take a left and some good local restaurants including salad or tacos.

Pros: Great location/affordable. Everything is in walking distance, the Cathedral and the Mercado. This might be a little funny but the water pressure and temperature is great for it being in Mexico! Hotel Staff were nice and friendly. Cons: The pics online look deceiving—outdated. And the area looks a little sketchy, it looks like abandoned buildings with graffiti all over. And the hotel room especially the bathroom smelled like sewage. The door to the room also seemed to not close well. I will not be staying at this location again.

The Hotel was not clean at all. The room was not cleaned at all. there was a lot of mold in the bathroom, the sink was clogged beds were sod and one of them was Brocken. The bedding was so old. There were hole in one of the walls. I stayed just one night and the next day we moved to another hotel because we don’t feel safe in that hotel. When I went to the front desk to checkout they were so rude. I wii never ever go back in that hotel it was the worst experience for me and my family.

Service desks really good people, cleaning ladie and management of cleaning so bad they cleaned the room just one time on seven day of my vacation bathroom duty every day I have to ask for toilet paper and towels bad service whit cleaning.
