Fantastic service since I stepped into the lobby. Very clean, comfy bed, nice view and in a great zone. Extremely peaceful wich is something I was looking forward to on this mini vacation.

Stunningly beautiful hotel with tons of amenities

The Demetria is a gorgeous hotel. Our room was enormous. They thought of everything to provide a comfortable stay (robes, slippers, reading material). The freestanding tub is a showstopper.

Cool theme, cold feel

The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was nice and the location was great. The room wasn't very soundproof and you could see through the gaps around the door. I could hear people talking and music from neighouring room. No coffee or free drinking water in the room and the restaurant wasnt open when I had to check out by 8am. TV wasnt working correctly and after 2 visits from maintenance I told them to forget about it. No bar service by the pool on the 4th floor and overall the hotel lacked atmosphere, although the staff were friendly enough. The art gallery theme was kind of cool but lack of people or services made it feel quite empty.

Beautiful and unique boutique style. Very contemporary, quite at night and fantastic staff. A coffee maker in room would have been nice and I'm not crazy about the lack of privacy in the bathroom but it was a very nice place and I would stay again ! Great staff!

Friendly, attentive staff. Clean property. Close to Chapultepec without the noise and traffic. Also in the area were nice boutique restaurants, more hip than the loud Chapultepec scene. You can have your choice.

We really loved this hotel. When you go through the pictures and you arrive, there's usually many differences. I was very pleased to see that it stayed true to what they advertised. Reading other people's experience, I didn't know what to expect. The staff was amazing! The most helpful I ever experienced. I have family in the area and when I told them where I was staying, they said it was 1 of the best hotels in the area and it really felt that way. The food was also great. I can't stress enough how amazing this place is. I hope all that stay can have the same experience we did.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Great value

Perhaps one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in (and that’s a lot) location is good, service is excellent, room was extraordinary. Bed was very comfortable. Great value for money. If I can offer just 1 piece of advice it would be to improve the restaurant. Not the appearance it’s beautiful, but the offerings. That is the only thing that needs work, the rest was simply excellent.

be VERY careful!! the prices on the page are in different currency than when you get to paid on the hotel, on the page appears on pesos MXN and in the hotel in USD, but isnt visible on the page, they scam you!

Great location. The overall hotel experience was impersonal, not very welcoming. We also had an issue with housecleaning: we left wet towels on the floor to be exchanged after 3 days of use and they were just hung back up wet. Also had someone try to enter the room at 17:30 even though we had the “dormiendo”/do not disturb sign on the door. The man at the front desk did not know who was trying to come in. Overall it is a nice hotel in a great location but I would not stay there again.

The rooms are big. However, they were a bit dusty when we entered the room. The lobby has an "art installment" of old rattan chairs. In reality, it looks like a bunch of chairs that left there for someone to throw out. If you are going for the roof top pool, don't. It is not resort like and does not look like what is in the pictures. The two times I went to the roof, there were no towels. The day beds were not prepared for customers to use them with nice clean towels. In fact there were no towels on them at all. But wait, there were no towels anyway so I could not put any on if I wanted to.

Upon our arrival the hotel front desk was very cold and indifferent. We arrived from another hotel and had hoped for the possibility of an early check in and where told that we needed to wait the 3 hrs in the lobby with all our bags. Our daughter got locked in the lobby washroom and it had a heater running as the door lock that was broken, so she nearly passed out. The pool area is run down as well as gym area with poor functioning toilets and doors with no lighting. When the rain storms came, our room patio door seal was damaged and water pooled into the bathroom which had an electrical outlet on the floor. We had to hurry to control water flow to that outlet as well as water that came from the ceiling. We told the manager and he didn't come to check at all. Instead one night we had one of the concierge (short man with a black suit) not even knock on our door and key himself in at 9:30 pm to quickly dash saying sorry with no real explanation for the disruption. The entire hotel staff seem rather disgruntled especially the very rude front desk lady who didn't even contact us before cancelling our room keys as she awaited for us to pay an additional room fee for having our kids in a room with 2 double beds. Having stayed in 6 different hotels during our summer long visit to Guadalajara, I would have to say this was the most unpleasant one. Most of the time we left the hotel to spend our days elsewhere. We will never return.
