Hi Tom, Thanks for staying at The Grand and feedback. I a sorry to know that you felt the room is getting old, however, we have always kept the room update by renovating the rooms in the last 12 months included new carpet, new paint, new bed heads, new TV and new arm chairs. I understand that you have booked an internal room with skylight only(but we do have Window room at a high room rate), unfortunately, there's a cover over the skylight window and we won't able to clean the skylight window. Apart from the skylight, we believe our rooms have been upgraded to the highest standard. Once again, thanks for staying at The Grand and hope to see you next time.

We are sorry for your lack of understanding regarding the issues that you have commented on. Firstly the shower head was replaced as soon as we found that it was cracked, and anyone would have seen that was the leak problem, instead of claiming there was broken pipe. As soon as the shower head was replaced problem was fixed. Both T.V's were fully functional, but Foxtel had been disabled 6 months before, and the channels still appear on the TV's with "no signal". This was also explained at the time.

Thank you Tom for providing feedback, but we would like to point out that you did book online our smallest internal room and cheapest. Your previous stays, that you have enjoyed your time here, you have booked online the King Delux, which are larger rooms for a few dollars more. We would suggest that you in future book the same room type that you have previously stayed as there were many available. Again we are sorry for the small room you selected but are confident you will enjoy any future stay booking the King room that you have previously.

Thank you for providing feedback. We are sorry that you weren't able to contact Reception as the shutters are manually operated via the Reception.

We are sorry for your experience but we do need to correct some comments you have made. Once House keeping have finished preparing the rooms the blinds are drawn in all rooms, but your point is noted. The Spa and indoor pool is down stairs from Reception, and turned on by staff for when guests wish to use the facilities. You never contacted Reception to allow us to turn on the Spa to use FOC. None of the jets work with out power, and we a sorry you did not let us know.As was pointed out the rooms have very high ceilings and it does sometimes take time to heat up rooms. When you contacted Reception to complain we brought up an oil heater and showed you extra blankets in the cup board. When you called back to Reception to complain about the shower head because you had pulled it down, we replaced it with a brand new shower head that couldn't be tampered with. We thank you for making the comments and allowing us the opportunity to provide our feedback.
