Lovely hotel in the heart of town
Lovely Hotel of the 1920's era and very well maintained. Situated in the heart of the town. Good bistro. Room was adequate with ensuite. Tea and coffee facilities were in a large common room which opened out to a balcony available for guests.

The price tells it all!
The price tells it all however it was a fair deal considering that it was your local hotel and a very decent breakfast was provided. The blinds didn’t quite cover the windows and therefore bright light shone all night through the window. Service was great but it’s a little older so all round it was ok!

I had a great one night stay here on 31/12/23. I received a great rate through lastminute. Very easy check-in and check-out process. I enjoyed the included complimentary breakfast, whilst simple but delicious. Some caveats: no personal fridge in the room, only a shared common area outside the rooms for tea, coffee, etc. I also found it a bit odd that the AC settings aren't to be changed at all. Also that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom for showers, with a note stating that showering with the door open can cause the fire alarm to go off. All in all, I did have a great stay and the staff were very accommodating. It was cozy, quaint, basic - all you need for a place to sleep.

Clean, pleasant Great Pub & food.
Awesome pub, was able to park at rear, not many spots but a good option. Breakfast was incredible and available between 7am-08:50am. Rooms and beds we’re comfortable not too loud for a Main Street and pub.

The character of the hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. And having a freshly cooked, generous breakfast was an added bonus. My stay at the Victoria has opened my mind to the possibility of hotel accommodation.

The food was great , the breakfast was superb and it was included with the accommodation. The room was a bit dated but was clean and there was a lounge room where you could make your own tea and coffee and there were plentiful supply of biscuits . Very homely and the staff were great.

I liked the free breakfast. T bone steak of dinner was great. Staff were very friendly and nice. Cleanses was ok but the hotel need a renovation to get 5 out 5. In general was ok and I come back again.

It is a pub on the main street so expect music and people on a saturday night. Bistro food was amazing. Included breakfast also fantastic

Don't stay here, unless you are the one down in the bar listening to the loud live music well past midnight and keeping all guests awake. Also don't stay here if there is any problem. The hotel locks you out and doesn't answer the phone. A horrendous experience all round. Don't stay here.

Thank you for your review. The Pub does have live music on Saturday nights as we are a pub/hotel. The band stopped at 12.15 max. The staff are onsite and answer the phones until 2am. I'm sorry you did not have a good stay but if you had approached the staff between the hours of the time you checked in up until 2am we could have found you alternate accommodation that would suit.

It is fairly good value for money, everything is there, had meal first night and it was terrible, table was not cleaned properly,salt a pepper condoments where dirty,there was a mix up with accommodation and at @ 9.30 the staff rang me to see if we where coming and we where already there and asleep, stayed there @ 3 years ago and was good this not so.
