Brookside Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"I loved everything about this cozy spot. My expectations weren't high because my husband booked this place while driving through Tennessee late at night. The moment I walked into the room I fell in love instantly. Gives you the cabin vibes without being away from everything. This was my favorite stay while in Tennessee. So much so that we booked another night. Originally it was just a place to lay our heads to sleep, but ended up staying an extra day here. And then went to the Holiday inn downtown Gatlinburg. Between the two I preferred this place, and the kids loved the pool there more than the holiday inn. "
"We stay here everytime in Gatlinburg. The rooms are clean and big. Hotel is right across the street from Starbucks and is next to almost EVERYTHING!! Highly recommend."
"We will definitely be back the next time we visit the Smoky Mountains. The property is clean, super inexpensive and the staff were really nice and accommodating. Understand that this is an older hotel, but it has a lot of vintage vacation charm. It’s like something from the 1980’s.
The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge, which was very useful. We stopped at Aldi in Pigeon Forge and stocked up on bread, cheese and drinks to offset the high prices of everything in town. The breakfast was good and there’s a nice little park directly behind the hotel.
Although there is no jacuzzi, it was hot enough that we enjoyed the pool. "
