Cozy, 2-bedroom barn in peaceful Brooksville

"This place can’t be beat if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with views of the water. I went with my husband, 4 month old son, my dog and my parents. We had plenty of space to spread out, cook meals and enjoy peace and quiet. We couldn’t do much hiking this time so it was a bonus to be able to walk around the neighborhood with the stroller (and to Tinderhearth!). We did a quick walk down to the water which was also beautiful. Dave was very communicative and addressed all of our needs right away. We hope to be back next year!"

"A very sweet cabin. Not luxury. But. Has everything you may need. It is furnished like your great aunt Nana's summer cabin. Books and games are in the shelves. Kitchen is tiny and adequate for a cabin. You won't make a turkey dinner here, but it is all good. We will be back"

"Lovely spot on the Bagaduce River. Great kayaking, bird-watching, walking and biking. The cabin is clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the screened-in porch. The host, Jane, was extremely helpful and responsive. I hope we can return."

"The small apartment was clean, cute and comfortable, in a beautiful country setting. Easy to enjoy the entire property, including paths along a meadow, forest and to the beach. The hosts are kind and helpful, yet not intrusive. I would definitely stay here again."

"We loved our stay in Castine! Ina was readily available for any questions while we were there. The gardens were beautiful, and the house was so clean. The kids loved all the kid books in the reading room, and the art throughout the house was so beautiful. Just a note that the steps up to the nice airy upstairs room/bathroom are very steep for older people or little kids, but there is a door at the bottom to latch for safety. Thank you for such a great stay!"
