"I had a great stay at the Peaceful Getaway in Sedgwick. Listing was just as described. Very cute and clean tiny home with everything an individual or couple might need. Beautiful spot to relax, and close to Blue Hill and other wonderful areas. (I recommend a walk through the Harriman Point Preserve in nearby Brooklin.) Check-in process was great, and although the main house is nearby it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot. "

That said, there were some easily addressed deficiencies in the access process. We were given a name for our suite and an access code that we were told would work for entry to the house AND the suite. The code worked for the building but not the suite. Also, none of the suites are marked with names; they’re all numbered."

"We stayed here for one night on the way to Acadia, National Park. It was a little over an hour from Bar Harbor, Maine which was really nice. This hotel far exceeded our expectations! Our only regret was arriving late so we couldn't stay longer and enjoy the pools! They have both an indoor and outdoor pool, the rooms are very clean and modern, and breakfast was spectacular! We had choice of a variety of homeade mini quiches, fresh baked cinnamon rolls, blueberry coffee cake , flaky croissant along with hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, etc... We were very impressed. Not to mention the view over the lake while eating breakfast was gorgeous both on the deck or inside. On top of that, the staff was extraordinary and so polite - checking in multiple times that our room and stay was good. Would love to come back here and will recommend this place to everyone! A+++"

"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff text us the check-in information and provided the access code to the room. There was no need to go to the office to check in. The refrigerator didn't work but, after texting the staff, a quick response was received and the matter was attended to. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice, with hot water and good water pressure. The room was very clean. The staff let complimentary snacks, 2 cans of soda, and bottles of water for us. A nice, unexpected touch. "
