Actually saw a a Black Bear walking 20-30 yards away in the woods. It is incredibly rare to see one and it saw us and immediately ran off. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to reconnect with nature and also sleep in a very comfortable bed. This is. The place for you."

Everything was as described in the listing, plus the amenities they provided were wonderful - well stocked kitchen, towels to use with the hot tub, lots of games for kids and adults, and on and on. Great communication, too. I thought the wood fired hot tub might feel like a chore, but it didn't - we used it a ton and loved it. Such a special place, right on the lake and the river.
