"Everything was great. Room had outstanding view and kitchen accessories were in great condition."

"We really enjoyed our weekend here. Quiet and secluded, but still very close to Grand Marais. A path just outside accesses a whole network of trails, we hiked to Pincushion Mountain. And the SHT connects here as well if you want to go further. The furnishings are simple in a very nice way; a folding table with two folding chairs, an electric kettle and a mini fridge are great for morning coffee or simple meals. The only thing we would have changed would be trading the two twin beds for a single 2-person bed, but that's preference. Great place, will stay again."

"The cabins were nice and private. It was clean and the experience was great. They had wood that was easily accessible and plenty of heat sources as well as water they left for us."

"This clean, upstairs property facing Lake Superior with it's private beach and little deck with beautiful sunrise views was great! The location was perfect for walking anywhere in town and was a close drive to trails. The bed was comfortable and there was a refrigerator and microwave but no TV. We'd stay here again"

"I checked in late and they left a packet with my key out for me. I stayed in a studio with kitchenette and had everything I needed. The lakeside sauna was a nice bonus. "

"I was very nervous after reading the reviews but we had a great stay. It's nothing fancy but the staff was great, the room had a beautiful view and it served its purpose. This location alone is worth the price we paid, which you're not going to find cheaper in Grand Marais. I mean, you're next door to World's Greatest Doughnuts! Maybe we just got lucky with our specific room but I think alot of the people in these reviews expected a 5 Star resort and just love to complain, but you get what you pay for! I would stay again! "
