"Our room had a nice view of the lake. The room was clean but maintenance was unprofessional. We had to park in the street and skipped the breakfast, electing to go to the bakery around the corner. The location was good."

"I was looking for a last-minute accommodation for an overnight trip and the domes at Pincushion Mountain Haus were exactly what I was looking for. It’s very cute, spacious, and I got to enjoy a quiet rainy evening during my stay. The location is perfect, just 6 mins to get back into town. I appreciated the mini fridge and electric kettle. It does get quite chilly, so be prepared to bundle up if you go this time of year! Would definitely recommend and plan to come back again!"

"What a lovely little cabin! My expectations for this rental were blown away with how cute, clean, and cozy the cabin is! The cabin itself is a little rustic but has solar lights that can be used at night and has the composting outhouse available. The property itself is really secluded in the woods but as I walked along the open trails I did see quite a few ruffed grouse! If you want a nice little rustic retreat that is a great location for visiting most of the north shore state parks, I recommend staying here! Grand Marias is only about 9 minutes away and is a great little town to visit and shop as well. All-in-all my stay was 10 out of 10! I look forward to booking this same property for future visits!"

"Lovely cabin in the woods. Love that it was off grid and had no electricity. The outhouse was clean and had no smell because of the composting toilet. It was as close to camping as we could get this year but much cozier. They’ve done a good job of creating a space to get away and yet be easy to be in."
