"The resort is located with the Bacawina rainforest There are plenty of worthwhile tours or you can hike on your own. The trails are maintained by National park rangers It is a safe place- there was no evident crime or any immediate danger from the wildlife Definitely bring bug spray The suite at the resort was spacious and clean, however, there is no air conditioning and it tends to be very hot and humid and not much of a breeze The food and cocktail menu at the restaurant is lumited but the food and drinks were good The staff is phenomenal in service, friendliness and knowledge The tour guides are A "

"We had such a great stay at Green Valley Inn. The rooms are large, and had all amenities we needed (AC, parking, mini fridge, etc). The best part was how the owner Wayne and his wife, welcomed us in like family! We were treated like gold and learned more about Belizean culture in our short stay at Green Valley Inn than anywhere else we stayed. Will definitely be back!"

"This place was amazing. The view of the wilderness was awesome. We stayed in the Firewatch villa and had a front row seat to various birds with a great view. We took a guided tour of the property and saw 4 waterfalls, a hawk and had a private lunch at the secret pool with another waterfall and hammock. The staff was amazing. Marvin gave us a lot of information on our tour as did Vion when he took us cave tubing. They arranged our transportation from the airport and to the ATM cave. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with our daily itinerary. The food was delicious too and the servers were very friendly."

"The plants, trees, birds, sounds of the creek, and all around beauty made this resort an amazing stay. You really do feel like you are one with nature here. Waking up to howler monkeys was an interesting start to the day. The food was great amd the staff was kind and helpful. "

"The overall atmosphere of the place was fantastic. It was far enough off the road that it was quiet, and it felt very secluded. The scenery was beautiful. We enjoyed the short walk to the restaurant and pool. We really can’t comment on the restaurant as we chose not to eat dinner there, as we were not hungry. So of course, the next morning we were starved. And they still were not open by 730. I’m not sure what time they did finally open. Also, being a coffee, lover, having no coffee pot in my room was a bummer. We finally drove into town to find a cup of coffee and breakfast. The pool was lovely. Perfect temperature."
