"I've stayed at Evenstar multiple times and always love our stay. It's a cosy granny flat that is well equipped for you to relax for a few days or use as a base to explore the area. Olwen keeps the house well maintained and stocked. Plenty of essential oil products to use, great coffee machine with beans. Kitchen is stocked with all sorts of tea and coffee. Plenty of cushions and blankets to really cosy up. Fire wood provided for the first night so you don't need to think, just light a fire and relax. I love staying here and long forward to the next stay. "

"The Hydro has so much rich history and the renovation is beautiful. The restaurant is great and the chef outdid themselves with a wonderful dinner. The staff were excellent and so polite. The bar is fabulous for pre and after dinner cocktails. The valley view room was a little small, nicely renovated but the bathroom needs an extra shelf for your toiletries. Overall we had a great stay"

"Perfect location, close to many of the things on our to do list.Beautifully appointed with everything we needed, wood fire made it very cosy just what we needed after the days adventures in chilly June plenty of wood provided.. The peace & quiet was exactly what we were looking for & this property delivered. Beautiful sunrises complete with a visit from the local wildlife a family of Kangaroos. Our host Barry was great with communication & directions for our stay. Everything went smoothly definatley hope to stay again in the future."

"We had a lovely stay midweek.The property is really old has lots of character.The room was a bit small but didnt bother us.All day biscuits cake coffee and tea.Supplies for breakfast available at all times.Short walk from the station.New bath house between the Ivanhoe and Gardiners pubs.Highly recommend."
