"My daughter and I stayed for a birthday trip. It was such a beautiful place. Someone kept in touch before, during and after our stay. I never felt like I was "out of the loop". Be prepared to walk about a mile to downtown. It is a nice, safe walk though. I would definitely recommend the Coach House!"

"Host’s description of home and neighborhood is accurate and honest. Apartment is in a vibrant working class neighborhood, which is lively and occasionally loud until 10-11 pm. There are parks at either end of the street on which the apartment is located, and both are well-used. Overnight, it is quiet. The designated parking spot is close to the apartment and is definitely a plus. It is easy to walk to all the attractions in Salem from the home. We walked to and from downtown, took multiple tours, and explored on our own, and did not cover more than 6 miles on either of the days we were there. "
"The property was clean with the exception of dog hair on the chairs, sofa, and towels. There was an odor of wet dog. After communicating this with the management we were advised that the prior occupant did have a service animal and an appropriate adjustment was made. Location and comfort was fine. 4 stars overall.
