"I researched resorts in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio and none of them could come close to provide all the high end facilities with over 50 activities to choose from at Rough Creek Lodge. (Not even Grapevines' Galord Resort or Great Wolf Lodge that we have stayed.) I have never visited a resort or hotel that had such high class employees that would go out of their way to make your visit the most memorable you could ever have. Who would have thought this on a 9000 acre ranch. Fine dining, shooting skeet, horseback riding, bowIing, to axe throwing to name a few...it didn't matter of the high class performance. I made an excellent choice to celebrate my wife's birthday with my children and grand children. Thank you Rough Creek Resort & staff for making my wife's birthday and family experience an event we will talk about for years."
