"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"Pretty property in the perfect location to visit the park. There are no restaurants around so you're limited to restaurants there. Staff is so helpful and the ambiance at the lodge is relaxing.
A microwave in the room would be nice.
Mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable. Staff put in an order about it, however it was not resolved."
"Wonderful lodge, great location, spacious room with river flowing by, all amenities, very close to valley. Expensive yes but worth the money. In my mind this is better place to stay than lodges inside the valley"

Charming Newer Cabin In Yosemite Sleeps 6 - Close To River and Pet Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was an absolutely perfect choice and experience. It is inside the park so you can skip all the daily long lines in traffic to get in. We arrived at night and could just breeze right into the park. The location is a bit of a drive (50 min) from the valley but that alone is a beautiful drive through some of the most amazing forest areas. The kitchen was fully ready for any kind of meal prep and the deck was nice. Plenty of parking in front of the cabin. The host was gracious and provided all the necessary information to make the stay easy and fun. There is even a small general store a 2 minute walk from the cabin."
