Well hello there! And thanks for checking out our listing. You've come to the right place! We love our cozy, log cabin in the Smokies and think you will too! Keep reading for some of the reasons why we love it. Your Smoky Mountain vacation awaits!

Owlets Landing is a 2 story cabin located in Gatlinburg. It is just over 1,000 square feet in size, which makes it a nice space for 4 guests and cozy at our maximum capacity of 6. Whether it is enjoying a cup of coffee, sharing a meal in our fully equipped kitchen, soaking in the hot tub, or resting after a long day of exploring, we want you to feel at home! The cabin is in an HOA with various amenities and neighboring cabins, but still nicely nestled in the trees.

​The cabin's main level features the kitchen, family room, dining area (seats 6), and bedroom. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed and full en suite bathroom (shower). This bedroom has a door that leads out to the back deck. Upstairs, you will find the cabin's second bedroom with a king sized bed and full en suite bathroom (tub/shower).

​One of my favorite things to do while at the cabin (if not exploring the area) is to sit on the deck - to be in the trees enjoying the fresh mountain air! We have plenty of outdoor seating for guests to enjoy.

*We are close to the Rocky Top Sports Complex (5 minutes away), for those traveling for tournaments!

*Upgrades not yet updated in photos include new hot tub (Sept 2021), flat screen TV above fireplace (November 2022), stainless steel refrigerator, stainless steel microwave, cabin pressure wash and stain (Sept 2021), new dining room table, new downstairs bed frame, and bathroom upgrades (February 2022).

Last minute getaway

We had another great stay at this cabin. Close to town but tucked away for privacy. Very clean with comfortable beds and great communication with the host. Perfect for a family getaway. Hot tub is great!

Spring break family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We loved spending the evenings in the hot tub and it was very easy to get to while being far enough away from the craziness of Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay again!

Honeymoon

My husband and I had an amazing stay at owlets landing. The location was perfect with so many things to do and shops relatively close by. The view from the cabin was amazing and the hot tub was so relaxing. We couldn’t have found a better place for our honeymoon!

Great stay

This was a great stay in the mountains. The road is a little steep coming in, but it is a very quiet neighborhood. The cabin itself was very clean and inviting. Katie was very quick to respond to an issue I had with the booking process and checked on us partway through the stay. The cabin is exactly as pictured.

Clean and cozy

Perfect for a family of four. The kids loved the hot tub and adults loved the view. It was clean and all instructions were easy to understand and follow regarding setting up wifi, tv, and the check-in/out process. Great hosts and we had a great time!

Exactly what we were looking for!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything was exactly as described and communication was the owner Katie was excellent. As busy as Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were while we were there, we always had a nice quiet cabin with a beautiful deck to return to a short drive away. Next time we are in the Smoky mountains, this will be the first place we look to stay.

Great Stay!

Everything was as anticipated, the cabin was semi-private with tree covering, neighbors are within feet of cabin but quiet neighborhood. Hot tub was crystal clear. We saw a bear! A good sized black bear walked right by our cabin and crossed the road. It was a wonderful place to stay with children.

We owl loved it

From check in to check out, we had a great experience. Prompt and courteous communication with the owners was much appreciated. The cabin itself was clean, well maintained and most of all comfortable. The location was close to town, scenic and quiet while being right off of rte 321. A very nice cabin and experience.

Football trip

Our boys played 1.5 miles down the road in a 7v7 football tournament. This property was a perfect location to their tourney! We fit our family of 4 in this comfortably. Highly recommend

Great Weekend

Very nice cabin for a long weekend with my wife and daughter. Location was great. Cabin was very clean. Katies communication was superb. Very helpful and we knew if there were any issues (which there were not) she would be available.

Beautiful Cabin in the Smokies

Our stay at Owlet Landing was wonderful. The lovely cabin was just as described, clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well-stocked with all we needed. We slept well in the comfortable king-sized bed in the loft bedroom. It was a little too rainy and chilly for us to enjoy the hot-tub. The only issue we had during our stay was with the front door lock, and our host responded immediately with a quick resolution. Thanks for a great place for us to enjoy a getaway!

Summer trip with family

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the cabin. It was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 7 yrs old). We had a tiny issue with the remote not working which has because of some dead batteries and Katie was quick to respond a solution to have new ones delivered. Other then that it was a perfect stay! Definitely recommend it and the hot tub was nice and clean!

Just as advertised

The cabin was very clean and the pictures were spot on. That’s unusual. Normally pics are taken when a place is in its best condition and are never updated. With this cabin what you see is what you get. Very cool. Communications were very clear and responsive. Myself, wife and two kiddos enjoyed the stay very much. Even saw a bear one morning off the deck eating some berries across the street. Lastly the cabin was in a convenient location. You will not go wrong with this cabin.

Convenient Mountain Getaway

The house was perfect for our weekend getaway to catchup with extended family! The house was perfect for 4 people and its location is convenient to everything. It's close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and not too far from the main highway. But its far enough away to be out of the mess. The house is very clean and well kept, and has all the features and amenities that we needed for our vacation. We cooked most of our meals there and the kitchen was well provisioned. And the internet connection was fast and steady (sometimes an issue in other mountain cabins). The owners were great to work with, provided lots of great info, and communicated frequently to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We all had a great weekend and would definitely stay there again for a future visit.

Great Little Getaway

This cabin is a gem!! The decorations are cozy and modern and it is very well kept!! The neighborhood is a little more populated than I expected but that did not take away from the charm. It was still very quiet. I had scoured the reviews and they are correct when they said the road was a bit steep (and it was, especially for me being from South Florida where we don't even have hills, LOL) but it was manageable. I did manage to see a bear on the road in broad daylight but he quickly scurried away. They are not kidding when they say lock your doors. Its in a prime location just 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, and about 8 minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg. This was a last minute booking as my original reservation (another host) had to be cancelled due to Hurricane Helene effects. The host, Katie, was wonderful at putting me at ease and answering all of my questions. She even checked on us during the stay to make sure everything was ok. We will definitely be coming back!!

Cozy cabin but lacking in privacy

The cabin had everything we needed and it was a nice distance from town. We aren’t crowd people so we appreciated being able to get away from the craziness but still have easy access to food and GSMNP. The host was very easy to reach and helpful. We appreciated that the hot tub is drained and cleaned between guests for sanitary reasons. I was disappointed though because the listing indicated the cabin was in a more private section of the neighborhood and that’s really not the case. Also the master bedroom is in the loft upstairs. Thanks fully we were traveling alone but if you were with kids you would have zero privacy in your bedroom. It also meant that as soon as my hubby went downstairs to make coffee, I was awake because the light and noise carried. Nothing that can be done about either of those by the owners - it’s just the way the cabin is - but wasn’t something we had thought about before booking.

This is a nice and cozy cabin, with roomy bedrooms and each has its own ensuite which is very nice. It was extremely clean and our host Katie was very communicative and answered all of my questions quickly and sometimes even before I asked them!
