"The staff were great and the unit was spacious, clean and organized however the only one issue was that the beds were not made up and we managed to find two flat sheets we used. We asked for blankets and they were good with providing them. I’m sure it was just an over sight and wouldn’t prevent me from stating again because it was a great experience overall."

"Clean room, great location, shops are 5 mins away by car and there’s a sushi place onsite. I love that they have a picnic table at the backyard and there’s a wide space for kids to play. One thing to note is that the WiFi connection is so weak so make sure your mobile data is working"

"This place is so relaxing and quiet. The old furniture and antique family photos add character, and there.were multiple rooms and outdoor spaces to relax. We could have stayed a month! Highly recommended."

"This was a lovely spot with beautiful views out every window, it was very peaceful and relaxing. Hornby Island was a quick ferry ride away but there was also plenty to enjoy right there."

"Great location across from the beach. The hotel has been modernized and is very nice. It is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We did find there were several quite dirty areas on the carpet that should have been addressed. Also there were a few brown spots in one small area on the tile under the bathroom counter that were out of place on the grey tile. We weren’t sure if these were some kind of stain or some odd colouring of the tile. There were a couple of very small wasp nests in the outdoor light above the balcony which we mentioned to staff. As it was lacking in standard family food, we didn’t eat in the restaurant at all and wound up driving the short distance to Parksville for meals. Other than that we had no complaints and would stay there again."
