Super convenient. But don’t count on Google Maps to get you to the front door, it sends you to a weird other location. You need to go to the correct station exit, and the door is around the corner from there. Try the Mexican restaurant across the street!

Perfect choice! The hotel is attached to the mall and the train station. You have so much to choose from for restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. Funabashi area is nice. The room size is okay, smaller which is typical of Japanese hotel but it is enough for 2 people. It has a work space. I’m pleased with our stay. Staff are warm and helpful. The lobby offers free coffee and other personal hygiene supplies.

Staging hotel for getting used to time change.

Booked JR Mets not expecting much more than a jumping point for the rest of our trip. I’m glad I was wrong! Wonderful amenities that probably mostly cater to salaryman and those coming in for business. Worked great for us too! Station attached had number plus shopping dining drinking options and just right outside were many more. Amenities included toiletries that went above and beyond (razors, toothbrushes combs, etc). Free coffee station was better than it needed to be. Perfect for our needs !

Only thing was breakfast not as fancy and good as other places but there was a Starbucks Reseve which must be a special fancy Starbucks next to the restaurant which had good food. Might have skipped the breakfast included next time.
