"Cutest little house in the woods. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, and the very comfortable bed. It was quiet and relaxing in this home, and it was so nice to have the essentials provided (like coffee, sugar, creamer, garbage bags, paper towels, detergent). Very close to the brewery, and to the center of town. "
"We had a fabulous time… We loved your little zen paradise. So hard to put into words exactly how much I love it there. We were so comfortable and peaceful and enjoyed every bit of it and hope to be back again someday. "
"This is our second time staying at The Lodge and we are again blown away! Everything is so comfortable and relaxing. My son loves the dome and stargazing at night with that beautiful big sky view. We loved unwinding in the hot tub and soaking in the sounds of nature. Everything is so well appointed and thought of for every need. We enjoyed a day down at Berkeley Springs (we booked some Roman Baths) and then swam in the crystal clear pool for a few hours. We enjoyed the local restaurants of Proof on Washington and The Panorama Public House Restaurant (get the Tagliatelle with the garlic aoili- you won’t regret!). Thanks again Sam and Jeff! We will see you again soon!"

"Beautiful house and guest house set up over a ridge. Secluded but also close to town. Nicely decorated and appointed. You have to take a dirt road up a steep hill but worth the trip. Difficult to find at night especially if you aren’t familiar with the area. Helped to drop a pin. Would have loved more towels for our large group. The check in process was a bit frustrating. The links wouldn’t open and kept having to ask for them to be emailed. Great stay overall! Would come again. "
"We enjoyed our stay at this adorable place! The host was very attentive and made sure everything met our expectations. The house itself was immaculate and was perfect for our couple's getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The hot tub on the balcony was amazing. We highly recommend this property for a peaceful place to stay. The only negatives were that it was a little difficult to find the lane and the road was a bit rough (but it was worth it!). "
"Overall our stay was great! The bed comfortable and the house was pretty clean. I was kind of surprised by the multiple ACs. They worked great and were fine for our stay but it might get kind of warm peak summer time. The house is neat as it’s an older home and we both enjoy character. I will give a heads up that a neighbor does have a confederate flag hanging on their residence which did make us feel uncomfortable and does not fit the vibes of Berkeley Springs so it was a shock to see that. They did not bother us at all but I felt the need to give a heads up during these times. Overall this was perfect for our stay and the property management company was responsive and the women I spoke with when looking for the WiFi code was so nice too! I’d stay at one of their properties again. "
"This was our second time staying at the house and this time we brought our family to see it. The best thing is waking up in the morning and seeing the river and mountains out the whole back of the house. Hanging out with a fire in the great room and doing a puzzle was exactly the kind of relaxation we needed. The kids loved the secret bedroom (and decided that part of it was a slide!). It is just a short drive down the mountain to get into town so there is plenty to do if you decide to get out too."
