"Outstanding property exactly as described. We wanted peaceful and secluded and we got it. We did not see or hear another soul the entire time we were there. Multiple sightings of deer per day and even two wild turkeys. The meadow view is stunning. Looking forward to our next visit."

"We had a great stay here at the Muskie-Lounge River Retreat!! We were here for my son’s wedding. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The Tenney’s were flexible on check-in times and allowed us to get in a bit early to be able to shower/change from traveling before our rehearsal dinner. Evenings spent on the deck around the fire was very relaxing!! Would for sure bring the family back again!"

"This was our 2nd time staying at this hidden gem. I don't think I've ever stayed at a cleaner cabin. Frank and Micki are absolutely the most hospitable hosts you can imagine. The cabin is furnished with all the amenities you might want while still retaining it's rustic charm and the feeling that you are "off the grid" a little bit. We look forward to returning. Thanks for another wonderful getaway."

"Home is a few minutes down a gravel road in a camp ground. There is little to no traffic so you can enjoy the sounds of nature. Covered back porch to sit on if raining - home was clean and pictures were accurate with the photos shown for the listing. Less than 5 min walk to nearby river"

"Owner and family was super nice and friendly. Cabin backed up to a stream. So even though it rained off and on during my stay, I could open the back door and enjoy the serenity of the stream. The stream also was nice to listen to as I fell asleep each night! The price was super reasonable as well."

"Very nice, secluded cabin in the woods. Far enough away from a gravel road that didn't have much travel at all to feel secluded. Had good wifi, tv and all the things you need including full bathroom and kitchen. Well kept, very clean and seemed to be a pretty new build, (maybe only a year old or so). Close enough to the iga grocery store to get food to cook when you are not traveling around. Not far from old swiss village helvitia, historic bulltown civil war battle site and wildlife game...

"We (and our dog) loved the hiking trails! There were so many beautiful areas of the property to explore. The cabin was a perfect cozy size with everything you need and nothing more."

"Cabin was clean and cute. Hot water only lasted a couple minutes. Limited supplies - teeny coffee pot, 1 washcloth 2 towels. Unable to reach host in advance of arrival, however he does live onsite."
