"We enjoyed this cottage for a fall vacation weekend. It’s a nice two bedroom that easily fit my family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and we took full advantage of the warm weather for some grilling. There is a pretty view of the lake from the house and a small marsh. It was a short walk down a wooded path to the private waterfront area with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a large dock. We sat out on the dock and enjoyed the fall colors around the lake. You can either carry out your vacation on site or travel 30 minutes to Portland or just a little bit more to all of Maine's great beaches. "We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch."

The property is located near several hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Our pup loved it. The cabin was also comfortable enough for us to leave him behind for a short time while we went out for some shopping. "We had a wonderful time, and the house is great. It was spotless and great layout. The game room was so much added fun. Owner shared great information on the surrounding area. The deck was perfect for lazy afternoons and evenings. Only complaint, two upstairs single beds only had boxsprings on them. "We truly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin tucked into the woods. It was an easy drive to all our favorite hikes and the solitude in the evenings was just perfect. The fireplace was a great touch for early fall nights. Michael was absolutely wonderful about staying in touch and making sure we had everything we needed. We definitely will return again. "We booked this location, because we wanted to go to the Fryburg Fair and North Conway Outlets. It was just 20 minutes from Fryburg and 40 minutes from North Conway. In the evenings we sat out on the patio and checked out the foliage at the Pond. There was an extra friendly neighborhood dog that stopped by for a quick visit."

"We had a wonderful stay!!! The home is absolutely perfect, wonderfully decorated (including the owner’s own lovely artwork!) - everything you’d possibly need is there and available to you. My son and his girlfriend kayaked the entire lake and loved it. We all enjoyed the fire pit overlooking the lake, the covered porch and playing several games of pool in the basement.
