"We had four adults and four kids and this was a great location for everyone. Kids are all under 10 and the upstairs bedrooms were perfect for them. Lots of space in the rental for everyone. The fire pit was perfect and a nice secluded property. The best part was the lake access just down the road. Took the boats out on the water w the kids and they loved it. Highly recommend this rental."

"We had a wonderful stay, house is nicer than pictures online, was warm and cozy. Host was easy to communicate with. Would have liked an instruction binder accessible rather than pulling up online how to care for the residence and a list of local food delivery/restaurants would have been nice. Otherwise, no issues!"

"We've stayed at quite a few VRBO properties but this is one of the best. You can either carry out your vacation on site or travel 30 minutes to Portland or just a little bit more to all of Maine's great beaches. David and Davian are both super open to communication and very helpful. I spoke personally with David and he's an awesome guy. "It was lovely to see so many stars and listen to the stream. We also enjoyed the fire in the wood stove (although we had to stoke it every couple hours). The bed was very comfortable. The walk up in the snow was more strenuous than we expected. Next time we'll pack as if for a hiking trip. We'll also stay for more than one night so we can explore the hiking trails."

"My husband and I really enjoyed this lovely log cabin in Jackson, NH. We were impressed with how solid and well-built the cabin is. The decor is simple and unique. As others mentioned, the 2 downstairs beds have very firm mattresses. An extra blanket on each for warmth as the nights get colder would be nice. The location is convenient, yet private and quiet. The owners have made it easy to know what to expect and their " house rules " are reasonable. We would stay there again."

"We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch."

"We were a group of eight ladies all family . We had a great time. Several ladies enjoyed using the hot tub. The youngest enjoyed the tree house. Located in a quiet location where we could have some privacy was great too. We prepared most of our own meals and the kitchen was spacious enough for all of us to move around each other. The open concept allowed us all to visit together comfortably."

"We booked this location, because we wanted to go to the Fryburg Fair and North Conway Outlets. It was just 20 minutes from Fryburg and 40 minutes from North Conway. In the evenings we sat out on the patio and checked out the foliage at the Pond. There was an extra friendly neighborhood dog that stopped by for a quick visit."

"This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp."
