Bed and Breakfast in Melvin Village

"This hotel has a fabulous location regarding Lake Winnipesaukee. I stayed there in March of 2025 and 2026 and both times paid a "resort fee" which consisted of nothing. The hotel staff were very nice. My room was clean, but run down. The furniture was scratched, gauged, and set up on blocks of wood. I will say the linens were clean, the amenities were so-so. This hotel is taking advantage of its central location. In March, location doesn't matter. No one is going to enjoy the lake, the beach, the boating, everything New Hampshire has to offer in summer months during the month of March. "

"The service was okay they were kind, but Nothing was available for use except the pool which was freezing, sauna was out of order, so was the gym, the continental breakfast was lacking no cream cheese for the bagels, basically just bread. On the ad it said room service (food service), but what it meant was cleaning service. There was a ton of ants in the room also. The first night there we had no TV/Internet. Hopefully it's just in a transition period or something. I wouldn't stay here again though. "

"Very clean property, great price! Unit was great, plenty of space, well equipped. Great location, easy drive to multiple ski resorts. "

"Clean rooms thin walls, but we like having the apartment style with 2 bedrooms and kitchen. Laundry in the unit was good. Pool was great, but billards didnt work, and the arcade games could use an update. "

"While the staff were nice, the room has mold on the curtains but they claimed it was from water from the AC. There were no night stands to put belongings and the hot water did not work in the shower. "
