This Vrbo rental was a fantastic find! The location was perfect—conveniently situated 10 minutes from town while still offering a peaceful retreat. The open-concept kitchen/living room made the space feel airy and welcoming, and the breathtaking view was the highlight of our stay. It was also pet-friendly, which made our trip even better, allowing us to bring our furry friend along. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!
The barn was a fun, quiet and unique place. The home and surrounding area were beautiful and peaceful. The horses nearby were very friendly and fun to watch. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.
The views from inside the house and deck are stunning.
We saw moose, mule deer, coyotes, hot air balloons, bald eagles, and horses from there. And, of course, the white capped mountains and sunsets were incredibly beautiful.
This property was perfect. After 19 Hour drive, it was more than expected. The bedrooms were lovely; the property was nice and quiet and clean. I would 100% book this again. The host was so gracious and so helpful. I peppered them with so many questions and each were promptly answered. My oldest son was able to do a fishing right on property. He caught a couple of brown trout on a spin caster. We will definitely be back.
Everything was beautiful. Relaxing on the deck looking at the sunset was the best! The only thing that could have been described a little better would have been the fishing. Getting to the river was a guessing game and we were hopeful that we were still on the correct property. Simply wonderful. Thank you.
We stayed at this location because it advertised "private" fishing. As it turns out, it was almost impossible to get to the fishing. You had to go through 3 gates down a step sage brush hill, go through tall willows, muddy ground to find a small clearing to fish. It took about 20 minutes to reach the river. The owner who lives next door came over looking for some UPS packages and looked confused when I said we were going fishing. First red flag.
The house and view were great, location was too. The large windows add great light but also really heat the house up, (73% plus).
The management company people very friendly.
Exactly as listed. 15 minutes to Winter Park and plenty of outdoor space to explore for the doggo. The metal grated stairs to enter the cabin scared but that's the only complaint we had.
We stayed during the New Year Holiday and had the good fortune of visiting during a snowstorm. The property and the rental were just what we needed...a house-like setting, away from other neighbors, peaceful with abundant land surrounding the property. If you are going to rent during the winter months, be sure to have an AWD or 4x4 vehicle as the roads into this neighborhood will get plowed last. We had some minor issues with the pots/pans but the property mgt team was quick to respond and replace the pans within an hour! In addition to the pots/pans replacement, the property mgt team were very responsive to our queries and made us feel comforted that we could rely on them to address any questions we had about the area and/or services (we had to have our vehicle winched out of the snow and their recommended provider was available to help us within 30 min!). The rental is very roomy, comfortable for a large family or group of 6-8 friends, sizeable kitchen for preparing wonderful meals, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains (especially after an overnight snowfall!). I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Internet issues and a toilet whistle
Great neighborhood, very clean place. The online listing didn’t - as I recall - note the ~15 to -20 stairs up to get into the living area. The internet was either slow or fully out while we were there. The bigger issue was a high-pitch whistle coming periodically from the primary bath’s toilet. It woke us the first night and we thought it was an alarm of some type. It kept happening periodically through the next day and night. The property manager’s response was, essentially, thanks for letting us know and we’ll fix it when you leave. Not ideal.
This is an awesome property. More than enough room for 4-6. Amazing views. Very spacious kitching/dining/living areas. Very thankful for the heated floors throughout. Easy 10-15min drive to Winter Park Resort. Great property. You won't be disappointed!
This is a lovely spot. It was very peaceful and cozy; away from any sort of hustle and bustle. Check in/Check out was easy. We had a great stay. I did take off a star because the carpets are in desperate need of a clean; especially in the master bedroom.
We love the Fraser River valley, and this location is perfect to experience the valley and mountain views. We caught three varieties of trout, saw a bull moose, and Granby and Devils Thumb were easy to get to. The house was pretty well stocked, and has a nice deck with a grill. We had a wonderful time at the barn.
We were so pleased with the comfort and quality of this place. It has everything we needed and then some. This is a great location with amazing views and the communication with the management team was awesome. We highly encourage anyone looking for a getaway in the mountains to consider this place, you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to coming back.
This property is unlike any other place I’ve rented. The cabin inside is incredibly comfortable and open. The views from the windows and balcony provide vast, unparalleled backdrops of the Colorado Rockies. Everything was absolutely phenomenal and would 100% stay there again.
Shoutout to the friendliest neighbors in all of Colorado! I accidentally slid my jeep into a snowy ditch and two different neighbors came to the rescue! Using their bobcat to dig/pull me out safely. Thanks again to the
We were pleasantly surprised to find groomed cross country ski trails outside our door! We did the 3 mile loop on the days we didn’t venture to Devils Thumb. The views were amazing. Will definitely come back.
