Just across the street from the neighborhood is the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. This home also provides walkout access to miles of neighborhood trails for hiking and mountain biking and children's playground. The popular recreational areas of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park are only a 30 minute drive, making for an exceptional rocky mountain accommodation.

The resort base does close during the off seasons in the spring and fall and will vary depending on snow conditions, but the downtown area remains open year round.
