"The guest before me got a tobacco smell in the carpet. The hotel cleaned it but couldn't get the smell out. They sprayed febreeze in the carpet and refunded me the full amount of the room. They even gave us some snacks and drinks for free."

"I enjoyed almost everything about my one-night stay at the Drury. My room and bed were comfortable with working air-conditioning. Staff was super friendly. The 5:30 kick back basically served an entire meal with 3 alcoholic beverages included. Because I had dinner reservations later, I only grabbed a hot dog and some coleslaw, but the drinks were very good and the food looked wonderful. The only reason I didn't give the hotel 5 stars was the check-in. If you are coming by car, there are two lanes in front of the hotel where you have to pull up on a very busy street (4th Street). I arrived 30 minutes before official check in time and the lanes were already full, so I had to circle the block a couple times. When I finally did get a spot and got checked in, I was trapped in the inner lane and had to wait for others to finish checking in before I could even proceed to the parking garage. Parking costs $32 and is in a poorly-designed garage with small spaces, many of which are partially taken up by support poles."

"I came in last minute and the staff were very cheerful and accommodating. They have a little bar/casino inside that was not on the website. I was able to have a refreshing beer in a frosty mug at the end of a very long day. The room was better than expected. I think the place was recently remodeled or under new ownership."

"Overall, it is a lovely & beautiful venue! Just a couple things: the bathroom door needs to be fixed as it’s broken so there’s no privacy. Also the continental breakfast is overstated. Other than that, it was great! We order a dinner picnic basket, which was excellent.! Very very nice host!"
