But… Horrible climb to third floor with rickety stairs and zero elevator… very difficult with luggage and a baby. Spiders in room. Bathroom FLOOR was covered in what seemed like wallpaper… was wet the entire time and unsanitary. Bathroom tub plug was broken and wouldn’t drain. Housekeeping did not come to our room and we ran out of toilet paper twice in two days in the family room. Staff are overworked trying to manage both pub and formal restaurants every night. Meant long wait times to be seated and served. But the staff absolutely did their best and were fantastic. Could be a wonderful place, really needs some updates. Fish was delicious, but one was undercooked. Mom and baby in our party got sick from it."

"Hotel under much needed construction. Hasn't seen paint or a face-lift since probably the 90s or before. Even the sign on the hotel was missing letters. I said i wanted to cancel second night and they never called me back to discuss. Awful property. Strong avoid. I had to give it 1 star as 0 wasn't an option."
