Everything about our stay here was great! Booking online was quick and easy thanks to Expedia, the price was only a few dollars more than Super8, and I'm ALWAYS willing to pay more for local service. When we checked in, we were each given a big sugar cookie that was beautifully decorated as a butterfly - a pleasant surprise and a great way to end a long day of travel.
When I got into the room, everything was super clean, the lights and the air-conditioning were on and so was very welcoming and not something I was expecting. Beyond that, the decor is fabulous! The pictures just don't do it justice, it feels like you're walking into the forest, a great esthetic overall. The bed was super comfy, I had a great sleep.
The bathroom was probably my favorite though, a big rainfall shower head with excellent water pressure, the copper sink is a nice touch and brings the whole motif together, but more importantly, the bath products they provide are all Indigenous owned with scents of sweet grass, sage, cedar, balsam and mint.. I had the best shower ever!
And, while I didn't have a chance to use it, there is a wonderful looking pool that's open till 10pm, not mention the contenential breakfast which was a perfect way to start the day with a generous spread of fruit, yogurt, cereal, begals, pastries, coffee, juice.
If I ever stay in Fort again, I will be back. 10/10 would recommend!
