Hello Paul,We can empathize with the fact that the AC in your room was only blowing cool air rather than cold air. Unfortunately blackmailing us through text message into giving you a discount or face a bad review is also not acceptable. Upon checking our cameras we saw that you did infact have higher occupancy than stated which is a violation of our fire code and hotel policies. We have decided to waive the exta occupancy fees that you should have been charged. Regarding your drain, all you had to do was open it as it was simply closed. Had you mentioned this issue to the front desk, it would have been rectified immediately.

Hi Caden,We understand that you are unhappy that we would not permit you to stay at our property and are acting out in defiance of being turned away. Unfortunately, your reservation was in violation of several hotel policies, which are clearly stated on Expedia. These policies are in place for the safety of all guests, and as you gain a little more life experience, we hope that you understand why these sorts of policies need to exist. We did reach out to Expedia to ensure that they refunded you the full cost of your stay, which hopefully they did. Again, we understand your frustration at not being permitted to stay and strongly advise that when booking hotels in the future, you take the time to read the policies and if unsure, contact the property directly to clarify anything that you are uncertain of.

Good Afternoon Scott,To address some of your concerns, we would like to clarify the following. Firstly, room assignment is based on what types of rooms are booked by our guests. At no time do we assume that guests are going to cause a disturbance and/or party in their rooms. Unfortunately, in your case, we had not expected to receive noise complaints regarding your room at 1am. For the comfort of all guests, we do have a clearly stated policy that states that quiet time starts at 10pm – when complaints arise these must be dealt with. We also empathize with the fact that you may not have liked the fact that you were unable to consume alcoholic beverages and blast music in a pool space used by all guests of the hotel. Just to clarify, it is clearly stated that food and beverages are not permitted in the pool area, and under no circumstances can alcoholic beverages be present or consumed in that space. We realize that you were reluctant to want to move the containers from the space, and understand the frustration that you had. When asked to remove open alcohol from the hot tub, we had not expected that your party would then proceed to walk through the hotel, blasting music in the hallways as you did.We can understand that this hotel is likely not the vibe that you were looking for when you reserved, and we fully accept that reality – luckily there are other hotels that do fit a more party-inspired atmosphere and we actively encourage you to support those hotels.Kind Regards,Guest Services
