"We stayed here and it was a lovely stay. Great food and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and supportive. Highly recommend staying here! The location is up on the hill but it’s great for being next to the cathedral, next to the brewery and from here you can start hiking across to see the views and into the wetland centre. "Its a lovely building, full of character existing features. Parking at the back of the building with easy access. My room was the honeymoon suite. Large but cozy including a spacious bathroom with jacuzy for at least 2. Plenty of storage space and a large comfy bed. Plenty of choices for breakfast that can be bought to your room or served in the light, bright dining room with garden views. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definately stay there again."

"Room 107, extremely clean, shower was small but excellent pressure. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Loud music from below bar but at 11pm it was quiet. Heard upstairs guests last morning stomping around and slamming doors at 5:30am other than that quiet. Clean towels daily and bed made if you want it. No noise from the trains directly opposite the road. I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you and a shout out to Shay !! Awesome customer service!"
