"The LVB house was very nice with clean rooms and a wonderful breakfast. They were a little fussy about us getting there before three but that is ok. We just wanted to change before our cruise at 3:30 so they offered us a washroom. "

"This is a beautiful property right on the Douro river. The rooms are very modern and clean and have balconies that overlook the river and vineyards. The staff is so good and want to help anyway they can. We are finding that helpfulness is a Portuguese trait, they are born that way. There is free parking, free EV Charging, a free tour of the wine process and free treats. The location is great for exploring the Douro valley. I recommend visiting Regua and if you are a good driver take a ride up the the view point of Saint Antonio. "
