"Overall great views and listening to the ocean was amazing from deck...Especially the sunrise and we saw dolphins one morning. There's no beach out front to walk to swim as its large rocks/boulders...and the road is outfront. U can pack your things and walk a block over to the beach or you go down the road to public beach access as well as drive onto the beach about 4-5 min away. It was definitely nice and clean, lots of hot water for showers. There is a shower outside to hose off sand after your beach day...Would recommend as it was a nice quiet spot to sit and admire the ocean and waves as well as chilax."

"The location was great! Beach was not overly crowded at all. The house was very clean and everything 'as advertised'. Really great place for the week!"

"The house is LOVELY, well kept, right on the water with a deck view of Galveston across the Pass. Beach access is about a 4-block walk, and there's a small parking area near the beach entrance if anyone is mobility impaired. Great for a large group. Kitchen is easy for a bunch of cooks (2 trash cans and 2 silverware trays). Only suggestion is beds are not the most comfortable - IDK why VRBOs always seem to skip that detail. Overall a unique and enjoyable place, though. We would do it again!"

"Dirty, dangerous deck fencing, entrance door knob hanging off, key very very difficult to open door, old flooring and vents dangerous to walk on uneven and raised areas we tripped many times,nasty dirty couches and uncomfortable,water hose sprays all over you, rusted fencing and all home siding and trim. Needs maintenance all over. We should get a full refund. Kitchen drawers won’t open unless dishwasher and oven doors are opened first. White stair handrails inside sticky dirty."

"We found a lot of discrepancies on this beach house listed under Vrbo-Expedia. It indicated 4 bedrooms / 3 baths to accommodate up to 17 people on 1055 sd ft. The house only had 3 very small rooms and 2 baths NO hot water. Not very clean. The rug, the pillows and sofas on the leaving room were gross, we did not even seat on it. one bedroom had a queen bed and a bunk queen beds. The reservation was for 14 people, but some rented a hotel room in Galveston instead. II called the owner to fix the hot water, the problems was not resolved. The bathroom in the middle door knob was not working, many of us got locked up inside, very dangerous in case of an emergency or a child. I apologize to the owners for this honest review, but I think Vrbo-Expedia need to take some action on this listing. "

"This beach beauty exceeded all of our expectations!! We had the most fun and relaxing Thanksgiving getaway with our 6 teens and 2 pups. The location could not be better...literally ON the beach, and gorgeous ocean views from every window/room!! Also we loved being secluded and away from tourist crowds, but the drive to eat, movies, mini golf, etc. was an easy 15 minutes. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, and overly kind. They have stocked the house with everything you need and more, and it's sparkling clean and really cozy!! We truly can't say enough great things about our hosts and their wonderful property, and hope to be back again soon!! "

"We enjoy this property very much!!! This is where we stay in our annual family fall break. They got new furniture and rocking chairs for the deck. It’s always nice to be able to sit on the porch and watch how sunrise while listening to the waves. "
