GOOD: - location in central Foix allows foot access to just about everything. - great staff - overall a nice, simple hotel. BAD: - cafe / bar / restaurant closed most days. - Breakfast is expensive for the minimal and only ‘okay’ food served. - rooms facing street can suffer from noise (shouting, vomiting, crying) as bars close - rooms get hot. Can only cool with open windows, and given street noise…

Hello,Thank you for your feedback we really appreciate it and are glad to hear that overall you had a nice stay with us.Our bar is open to clients during reception hours and the restaurant has unfortunately been closed for a couple of years now since covid. There are however good restaurants close by which we recommend to our clients. We do not have air conditioning (for various reasons) but during summer and hot periods, the rooms are equipped with cooling fans. A real taste of France
Very nice and soooo French. Something very special about this little place in a lovely little town. Not in the least ‘touristy’

Located by Foix Castle
Nice place with central location. Hotel is Comfortable and value for money. Parking is not free but you can park freely in the centre. Check in is bit late and this could improve the hotel. Amazing view and nice staff.

Staff were very helpful. It was quaint sitting in the enclosed balcony with a view along the river to the mountains.

A very good place to stay
It is a hotel located in the center of the city, next to the river. It has a restaurant with very good cuisine. The guy at the reception was very friendly at all times and gave us directions to visit interesting places around.

Gorgeous hotel in the center of a beautiful town
A beautiful hotel in the center of town, very well kept, clean and bathrooms weren't too small. A Bilingual staff ( Which as we found out in the more rural areas of France can be a challenge to find). Fabulous restaurant. Small caveats, being an older hotel and in a 300 year old building it should be no surprise the A/C in the rooms is non-existent, but thats true of most all hotels in the region, even new ones. Parking if you have a car will be a challenge, but not a hard one, just have to walk from the town center if one of the parking spots is unavailable near the door.

Lovely town, decent hotel
This hotel is full of character and beautifully situated on the banks of the river running through the lovely town of Foix. The public areas of the hotel are really nice, especially the restaurant. Our room was a little tired and the bathroom could do with some updating but it was clean and comfortable with good beds.

Wonderful location!
Nice, hotel right in town. Room was clean, furnishings a bit dated. New , updated very nice bathroom. Staff very helpful. Old fashioned hotel but in perfect character with this beautiful medieval town. Would definitely stay here again.

Good Location, but...
Dirty dusty room, the bed covers were filthy... No air conditioning on a hot night. However the staff were great, the location was good and the internet was very quick.

Notre ancien relais de poste comporte effectivement, côté rivière, une partie avec les sols en bois ce qui peut parfois gêner. Heureusement son charme "Ancien" séduit la plupart ! Mais nous travaillons toujours à l'améliorer pour répondre aux exigences grandissantes de la clientèle. Espérant avoir l'occasion de vous le faire apprécier à une autre occasion, Bien à vous

Déçus de ne pas vous avoir charmés ! Pour information, notre buffet petit déjeuner comporte 23 qualités de produits différents et surtout l'été, heureusement pour nous, les produits doivent être très régulièrement réapprovisionnés. Aussi nous sommes étonnés que certains soient "éventés". Mais nous serons encore plus vigilants !... Cordialement

Bon hôtel pour visiter Foix et les alentours.
Hôtel en centre ville avec parking proche. Personnel très agréable. Buffet petit déjeuner un peu cher(9,70€ par personne).
