"This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. "We loved everything about the property. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive or good SUV to navigate the road to the property. But once you are there, you will be enchanted with the amazing property, the views, the pool and all of the magical forest sounds around you. "We really enjoyed the friendly staff, the cleanliness and the wonderful viewed throughout the resort. Loved the breakfast buffet at "Ventanas". On our prior visit, the restaurant was not open since Hurricane Maria caused damage to the property, so it was a pleasant surprise to find it was reopened. Our 10 yr old granddaugther loved the food at Ventanas & loved Coqui water park as well. The only negative issue was the sunken bathtubs/shower in our room. My husband & I both have knee/hip issues, so it was painful geting in & out of the bathtub. Will definitely call the property to inquire if all rooms have the same issue. Besides that, our stay was outstanding!"
