The staff was friendly and informative of all the things to see in Florence. The hotel is steps away from the Duomo and in such a great location. I highly recommend staying there if you are planning travel to Florence.
Excellent location right in the piazza of the Duomo. Room was spacious, but could use a few more touches to make it useful (drawers, shelves, hangers). We loved being able to open our door/window and see all the activity in the Piazza.
We had hoped to use the rooftop patio a few times, but the door was locked. Breakfast was mid, but acceptable.
The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic! Our room was a great size, and having an elevator was definitely a plus.
The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view, 10/10! We had the Duomo right in front of our window. Being able to open the window and admire such an incredible view was truly unforgettable.
The location couldn’t be better. Everything was within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore Florence.
The only downside was the noise from the square. Although the windows were designed to reduce outside noise, we could still hear quite a bit, especially with all the activity in the plaza.
Overall, a wonderful stay with an unbeatable location and a spectacular view. I would definitely recommend it!
The most central location you can stay in Florence! Good breakfast included. Staff gave us great recommendation for restaurants. They also let us store our bags after our check out time. Definitely recommend.
Location, location, location. If you want to be near the most iconic places in Florence this is it! We had the Duomo pass that allowed you to see the church, climb to the duomo, bell tower, baptistery, and museum and this hotel was literally right in front of it. We got a window view room and it was amazing to see it all from our bedroom. Staff was friendly, breakfast was decent, but the location saved us a lot of time. Simple 7-10 minute walk from the train station. Only thing that was left desired was a fridge to store our drinks in.
The property location is amazing and the room was adequate and clean. The staff was really nice as well. The breakfast was quite disappointing and the AC wasn’t effective at all
This is a bed an breakfast and not hotel.
Location is amazing as you are next door neighbor to the Samta Maria Del Fiore.
Luckily we had room in the back and not with a wiew of the church. It is noisy until 2-3 in the morning at the square.
It is okay to live here for a night or 2.
Breakfast was poor but easy to just walk to one of the bakeries close by to have a good breakfast there.
Thank you for a great stay! The view was beautiful. Thank you for the recommendations for restuarants and gelato. Florence was a favorite place on our trip. Breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful.
Room was great though on the small side. The staff were great and Marcello was informative and entertaining. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of food and drink choices.
A lovely stay at this hotel facing the duomo (baptistery side). The room was spacious and can open windows if you want to be part of the action at the square, or close them and they are pretty noise cancelling (of course not fully). There were many musicians playing music in the evening and it was a pleasure to listen to from the room without having to leave! Please note the room is quite basic, it would be nice to spruce it up to feel a bit more cosy/italian (prints, rug, decor, etc). The breakfast was just ok. Overall though I would recommend for a great view!
We were worried about the noise of the busy tourist spot, but the windows were fantastic and was able to sleep soundly. Great location, highly recommend.
Clean room great location friendly staff great vibe in the middle of everything restaurants pharmacy shops all around
Convenient to everything.
Marcel the concierge was absolutely the best and I would highly recommend you stay here
