The staff were awesome at Hotel Spagna. They were knowledgeable and very willing to help. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. The A/C was nice and cooled the room quickly. The only negative was the cramped bathroom, but i would definitely stay here again.

Superb location. Step off the tram from the airport, it’s 200m away. Ideally situated for the historical centre, cafes, and restaurants. The staff deserve a special mention - very friendly and welcoming. A point worth mentioning however, there is no lift. This may be an issue for some.

Excellent hotel with everything you need to explore Florence 10 minute walk from the train station 10 minute walk to all the lovely sites Florence has to offer. We had a quad room for 3 nights that was more than adequate for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, was cleaned daily and the staff on reception were always cheerful and helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel. Wifi connection was terrible, AC not working properly so I was sweating all night and couldn’t sleep, thin walls (can hear other guests through the walls), the rooms were not cleaned properly, no elevator (had to carry bags up 4 flights of stairs), really bad water pressure in the shower, pillows were totally flat, bad street noise - the room would literally shake with trucks driving past outside. Not worth the money.

Fantastic location. Just a few mins walk from the Firenze SMN and just a couple blocks away from the Duomo. The AC was cold and didn’t have to worry about the summer heat. Sheets were nice and clean and bed was comfy. However, walls are paper thin, you’d hear everything from your neighbours and noise from the street. They also have no elevator so that was also an issue.

Hmmmm well it must have just been the room we were allocated, but it looked like the headboard had recently been ripped off the wall as there was wall paper peeling off . Not small pieces though, I would easily pull big strips off it I wanted. The skirting was only placed against the wall, I could tap it will my foot and it fell away. The shower head/ faucet, frame with the shower heads was completely crooked and off the wall . I pulled it so it was standing straight up so we could shower. If you wanted to use the toilet be prepared for the glass of the shower to be touching your knees. My husband and I were staying and the beds were literally 2 singles pushed together and there was a big gap in the middle. The bed wasn’t even made up as a double. Literally 2x singles pushed together .The street noise is insanely loud but that isn’t the hotels fault.. the only upside of this place is that it is about 2mins walk from Santa Maria novella train station and about 3 mins walk to Piaza del duomo which is stunning. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless they hard out back packers. The staff were super friendly.. The room itself was just s**t. If you do stay make sure to ask to stay away from. Room622

The hotel was right in the centre of the main shopping area of Florence, you couldn't ask for a better location. Staff were friendly and helpful, the only down side was the layout of the hotel; a tricky to navigate labyrinth of corridors, stairs and ramps. Unfortunately, there is only one lift in the hotel and it did not access either our floor or the side of the hotel we were on so there was a great deal of clambering up steep steps which wasn't ideal with suitcases or shopping.

Great location near train station, cafes, restaurants and walking distance to points of interest! Hotel rooms are small, run down, and bathroom was tiny and very old. No hot water on a few occasions. Staff was ok but not very friendly.

The location of the property was good, lots of things in walking distance. Very central and near the train station. A good budget property to leave your stuff, and sleep. There were renos going on and the hotel itself is a bit different in terms of layout. The floor plan is a bit wonky where on a floor, you might have to go up and down other set of stairs. There is a small lift/elavator. The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. The room was older and very dated. We had mosquitoes in the room each night, even tho would would get rid of them. Our AC worked just fine.

The air conditioner was not working our first night. When we let the desk know the gentleman was very rude saying there was nothing he could do. With a window that opened to a wall it was a VERY hot, long night on an uncomfortable bed!!! The second night they were able to get it going enough to be able to sleep. The location is excellent, but the facilities are less than desirable.

NIGHTMARE STEER CLEAR!!! We arrived at the location on the 23rd of July 2019, we were met by darkness and filth The explanation was that the hotel was undergoing renovation, we were also told the room was NOT ready until 3 pm, so we decided to go to visit the nearby town of Pisa and spend the day there. On our return we were NOT greeted but we were met by a very abusive and arrogant male receptionist, who was shouting at us for no apparent reason. We were given our family room 531, when we eventually found the room exiting the lift on the 3rd floor we had to go through a maze of stairs and found the room being on the roof of the building, The temperature outside on the day exceeded 40 degrees and the inside of the room was way above 40 plus. The room was filthy and broken, unimaginable how could any hotelier could compromise SAFETY, HEALTH and BASIC HYGIENE STANDARDS IN THE NAME OF PURE GREED asking a ransom of 109.00 Euros for 1 night. The pictures posted on their site are false and some belong to a nearby hotel BONCIANI that Is PART OF THE SAME. OWNERS The blankets of the bed were thrown in to a smelly cupboard, the single bed for our son was beneath a skylight window that had a cover that was hanging and covered with filth. The Air Condition was blowing but not emitting air that was breathable. The shower was the worst one I had ever seen full of grime, if you thought you’d come out clean, then think AGAIN. We were relocated at the BONCIANI Steer CLEAR.

there was no air conditioning and no air to breathe in the room. We asked the staff to fix the AC and they sent someone in to move the dial around and pretend that they're fixing it. The space was very small and no room to move, the shower was awful, and I just did not enjoy this stay. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone.

My worst experience yet. Our booking was cancelled without notifying me and I was dealt with by the most unprofessional rude manager you can ever imagine. The hotel is not what it seems like in the photos. I am glad that I did not stay there but the way it happened is unacceptable.

Hotel is very close to duomo, very central area, but the rooms are very old and there is no wifi in the rooms, only in the first floor. Also i reserved room with double bed and they give me twin beds. Overall central hotel, and they clean rooms everyday. Also, From air Conditioner comes water and floor was watery.
