"Nicest Boutique Inn we have encountered"
Been traveling for awhile on this business trip. Joined Expedia and found many nice places but The Big Blue House beats them all. Beautifully furnished. Has all the amenities of a larger, less intimate hotel and is right where we wanted to stay near the shopping. We enjoyed the location close to museums and arts district. We arrived late and was shown to the room which was nicely cooled on that very hot day. Gluten free quiche the next morning was something unique and very tasty. Shared breakfast with a famous travel writer (can't say who out of respect). But it was fun. All in all can't complain about anything. So we give this boutique establishment a big thumbs up.

"Super hotel and great value for money."
We stayed at the Omni for 2 nights while visiting the Tucson area. We were amazed at the room and facilities for the price and would recommend it to all travellers, not just golfers. The welcome was lovely, the room excellent and the Happy Hour prices at Legends Bar very good value for both food and drink. The pool area was large, clean and well tended. In late August, it was almost empty and a great lap or recreational swimming area. Really recommend this hotel, especially our room which looked out over the mountains.

"Hotel with character"
The Lodge was a great place. I received an email confirmation before my visit asking if I had an requests and gave options on room preferences, i.e. spacious room, view, quiet, etc. (You can only choose one.) Originally, I planned to travel alone, but a family member stayed with me. I chose the big room. The room was a comfortable size, but it seemed liked a regular size room with two beds. I did get lost trying to find my room, even with a map and directions from staff. The pathways between buildings are narrow and tall. The bathroom was beautiful, but I felt the wall between the room and bathroom was a little thin. Also the water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong. My cousin thought because the shower head was so high, the spray was litthe weak before it hit. The restaurant is fantastic! My cousin enjoyed several delicious gluten free meals there. All the staff was very nice & helpful. I understand this was where the movie stars of the 50s and 60s used to stay. It's about 9 miles from the airport and about 4-5 miles from downtown. I thought it'd be little more secluded, but I was thankful for the nearby Target. I hope to stay there again. This time on my own. :)
